甜蜜蜜王國的皇后生下一位小公主，但女巫芭芭尤加突然前來施展了咒語，從此小公主就像風箏斷了線、氣球忘了回家，輕飄飄的什麼也綁不住她。

沒有重量的小公主什麼都不怕，卻也沒有感覺和感情；

只有皇宮旁的鏡子湖，是小公主最喜歡待著的地方。

但女巫芭芭尤加再度派出大水蛇，要喝光鏡子湖的水；

化身為擦鞋匠的王子，犧牲自己只願換回公主的樂園。

王子真的要死才能救公主嗎？

最終，公主終於有了記憶、有了哀傷的感覺，「愛」讓公主有了重量。

The Queen of the Sweet Kingdom gave birth to a little Princess. Witch Babayuga showed up and made a spell on the little Princess. Since then, the little Princess had no weight, like a kite or a balloon without the string. Without weight, the little Princess had no fear, no feelings and no emotions. Her favorite place was the Mirror Lake next to the Palace. Babayuga sent the big water snake to drink up all the water in the lake. A Prince dressed up as a shoe-shiner, willing to sacrifice himself to save the lake for the Princess. Did he have to give his life for the Princess? At the end, the Princess finally remembered and felt sad. Love gave the Princess her weight back.
